Reina Okawa goes home made...
Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at 1:17PM None other than the Flowerman himself dropped this piece on our desk and demanded that we feature it, or else. This gem is a hand made wedding invitation by (and for) Renia Okawa. Okawa has been featured in two of the shows at the Ipso gallery. Most recently she had 5 printing/drawing pieces in "Switchboard", that opened last Friday. She has a great mix of her drawing style with the textures of printing.

Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at 8:43AM New week, new banner. Short week, short banner? Anyway, no one really know what will present itself here on GC. We like to keep it organic, you kno? Just let it happen. Feel the design and illustration, let it come through you. And then send it to andrew@pickfresh.com or kiel@pickfresh.com and see it featured here.
Stay sane out there, maybe send up a hand turkey?

Photographic Content just had to make a cameo. Corey Vilhauer sent his electronic grab-bag of goodies from DTSF at Rug and Relic. Vilhauer killed during the last PhotoGraphic Content and when posed with the proposition of DrawnTown he "snapped" to. His medium of choice: Megabytes and Megapixels. Here are some great shots of the Sixth edition of DrawnTown.

Lastly, as has become trend and tradition, The GC desks' star of PTSF assumes the final spot in our post.

The colors of the woods and the rust. The strong diagonals. Im actually drooling. Great stuff Mr. Vilhauer. Marvelous. We can only hope that DTSF can use your mad skills to document the festivities repeatedly. Until the end of time.
Will Photographic Content ever return? One may never know. But one can have an impact on the decision. Send your stuff to andrew@pickfresh.com or kiel@pickfresh.com and see it here.
stay sane out there
